Over 8 years of experience
Over the past 8 years, our founder Pomi has tested, sharpened, and put hundreds of knives through their paces — in the kitchen, on the trail, and at the workbench.
That hands-on experience means we know exactly what separates a great knife from an overpriced disappointment. We’ve learned which blade steels hold an edge the longest, which handles feel comfortable after hours of use, and which brands consistently deliver quality across price points.
That depth of real-world knowledge is what makes our reviews different. When you read a recommendation on KnifeProReviews.com, it comes backed by years of genuine experience — not just marketing copy.
We’re a team of dedicated knife reviewers led by author Pomi and editor Towsif. Our mission is simple: give you the most accurate, unbiased knife reviews on the internet. No fluff, no paid placements — just real insights from real testing.

Learn moreHow We Test Knives
Our testing methodology for knives involves a comprehensive evaluation of each knife's performance, durability, and design. We use real-world scenarios to assess cutting efficiency, edge retention, and comfort during extended use. Our team of experts carefully examines each knife's build quality, balance, and ergonomics to ensure it meets our high standards.
We begin with a visual and tactile inspection of the knife to evaluate its build quality and initial sharpness.
Knives are put through a series of real-world cutting tasks to gauge their sharpness and cutting efficiency.
We test the knife's ability to maintain performance under stress by using it on various materials.
The blade's edge retention is measured by observing its sharpness over prolonged use.
Each knife is assessed for comfort and ease of use during extended cutting tasks.
We compile and analyze all data to provide a comprehensive review of the knife's overall performance and value.
